Algo: Real-time news App Reviews

They have listened and done good work! The app functions better than it has in years (hasnt crashed or linked to unrelated stories), its smooth and quick, looks great & reads better in either orientation on an Air2 than it used to. (Why did we ever think the rotating story samples on entering the old app were needed or cool? Not missed.) Re-recommended.

Have always liked this app but left after the last release. Just added it back and it shuts down every time I try to add my news options!! What gives?

The new UI isnt too bad, however, the news stories dont get updated often.

I suppose everything has to grow and change or wither and die. Oh well. Im going to stop using SkyGrid. Lost cut and paste ability and drilling down from more information is an issue. Ill check back from time to time to see if their unwise upgrade is fixed. Previous Review: I see the most news in the fastest way imaginable . Now, its buggy as hell and causes far more frustration than its worth... Crashes mid-read and wont open ANY links. Dont bother...

This used to be my very favorite app, very clean, easy to read... just excellent. Why a developer would take something great and make it terrible floors me. Now the app is messy, unpleasant to read, difficult to read and navigate. Why mess with something that was so great? Shaking my head...

Well, they claim to have fixed it. Crashes more than ever before.

Looking for a replacement. Hasnt worked since the update months ago. The only reason I stayed this long was how good the OLD app was...

This app is just too buggy to use. It crashes constantly - after I choose to add a news topic.

Yet again they have taken a great app and screwed it up. Developers stop doing stupid things with your app. You had the best app but now its all but useless. Go back to what everyone liked

Yep, another perfectly fine and useful app updated to extinction. Name changed to hide the fact a once great app named SkyGrid got hosed? Did Sky News send you guys a lawyer letter, or what? Couldnt see that one coming. Also, great strategy never listening to what the users want or that you used to get good reviews. Crap new name, crap new app. Congrats!

For years Ive been tracking the exact stories that Ive wanted to follow with this wonderful app. For example--if you dont know this app--you can follow, "Kermit Frog wife." Youll get highly specific news on unlimited self-written topics. It used to be called Skygrid which was probably a better name. Please fix the bug that renders a sign-in to another device to have the topics out of the same order. The orders should match.

Skygrid, one of my go-to custom news apps, updated to this monstrosity yesterday. I guess I really shouldve read the update log, but I didnt expect the app to COMPLETELY change to another name, UI, hell, looks like a different company altogether. There is no versatility with this app- one screen. Skygrid was free, so I guess I shouldnt really complain that much, and I havent looked up the backstory as to why its gone, so Ill take blame for that. But this forced change to a totally different news app? Garbage.

This revised look is terrible. Lots of wasted space. Updating erratic. There are much better choices out there.

My program disappeared without notice. No notification at all. No explanation in the app. Why would you do such a thing? I dont like what I see already. Will have to test it out and see. Time will tell. Anyone else surprised?

Love this App, I dont know what I did with out it. By far the best way to stay up to date.

I followed sky grid every day, with the update I will delete the app.
