No longer functions in anyway similar to when it was SKY GRID. Cant pick topics or sites. DELETE DELETE DELETE !!!!!! Waste of space!

I really enjoy this app. It works seamlessly. My only complaint is that since upgrading, the articles are much shorter, and you need to open in safari to read. Sometimes, when I click to "read more", I get an advertisement with no opportunity to read the article that I was opening. I think the app has been dumbed down. Who in their right mind thinks blind menu pull downs are in any way a useful "improvement?" HELLO! Were using smartphones with touchscreens, not a 2003 PC running Windows XP! Im been a user since SkyGrid, but Im ready to hit delete and find something else. This present incarnation is utterly unusable.

Newest update goes nowhere. Keeps going back to update button. Needs a fast fix.

Cant give it negative stars. Tried to open one of my bookmarks three time it crashed three times.

After giving this app five stars and a glowing review they changed the format in a careless and unusable way. This app was never great at capturing all available news. You still needed to double-check Google. Now they have taken away the picture icons for each category which visually aids in seeing if there is an update. Now the topics seem to all say, "new" when there is nothing new (some of the time). Without the visual aid or toggle to get back to said view Id have to go into every single topic to find out if something is actually new. And--as mentioned--Algo has never been good at capturing all of it anyway.

Awhile back when this was called SkyGrid, I used to love this app. However, it completely gutted that program with the tripe that is now called Algo. User experience is horrible and whoever picks the headline articles force-feed you from a completely biased viewpoint. I have tried time and again to give this a chance, but time is rapidly running out for me on this app.

Wont update. Cant delete it from my phone. Dont even know how it got on my phone.

This version introduced gross redundancy in the Home page. The Home page just mimics the users topics. It should show real news, important information that the user might miss, not repeat what user topics already gather. The original SkyGrid app was much more intelligent and informative, and with a better interface. Each iteration since has made the app less useful. Lets hope this trend changes, before the app becomes useless.

V3.1.8: Apparently youre not listening, ALGO! The new update indicators to the right of the topic names are STILL BROKEN! I agree with another user, Im losing my patience with this app! When are the developers going to fix the new indicator??? iPad 2, v9.3.4. V3.1.7: The new update indicators to the right of the topic names are STILL BROKEN! The new indicator still does not accurately inform you of new stories. How can a topic article be new, when the last look of that topic, just minutes ago shows the same results? When other topics show as new, how come they disappear/reappear randomly? Again, the new update indicators are BROKEN!! --- VERY FRUSTRATING!!! ALGO - CANT YOU FIX THIS??? V3.1.6: Preset topic names seem to be viewed now, as v3.1.5 had a tendency to be unseen. The new update indicators to the right of the topic names are STILL BROKEN! How can a topic article be new, when the last look of that topic, just minutes ago shows the same results? When other topics show as new, how come they disappear/reappear randomly? Again, the new update indicators are BROKEN!! --- VERY FRUSTRATING!!! Although the app is less crash-prone, the updates before v3.1.5 were more asthetically pleasing and the tiles for the topics could be arranged in a certain order; not the forced alphabetical layout of the current version. I agree wth other reviewers; the tile format was so much better. I hate the fact that now the topic names (when visible), are sorted alphabetically! Bring back the old view?? Cant get past log in, seriously? Hows this get past QA?

This app is crashing in both my iPhone and iPad! Can not read anything when it closes up on me!

When I open a story to the web view I get a blank page?!?! What is up with that! I have to open with the Algo view.

Registration through a social account (google) did not work. Could not get started with the app.

As a man of science I have never come across a level of sophistication comparable to this news crawling algorithm

2 updates and still No trend grid on 6s (but iPad has trend grid). I thought you heard your customers "the grid is returning" but still didnt deliver. Best app to worst app instantly. 5 star review awaits grid on 6s. Alison loved the apple trend that was device specific on the home page. It brought it all together. SkyGrid has been my go-to news feed since my first gen iPad. I was really upset with the last revision and wrote a one-star review - which I really never do, but I was completely bummed. And now - WOW!! SkyGrid not only is back to the wonderful grid format but the whole thing works better than ever!! Im very impressed that they listened to feedback after such a radical design departure and SO happy my favorite news feed is back on track!! I recommend this app to anyone!! Its the best!! Thank you SkyGrid!

After a very disappointing update, the developer listened and fixed the issue and restored the ability to get news from multiple sources again. The option is in a button after you click on the first article, but then all the various perspectives are there with the simple touch of a fingertip! This ability is what makes this app truly exceptional. From the same screen, you can see how multiple news sources are headlining the same story all from one view! This is priceless functionality and I am thrilled to see it restored. Thank you for satisfying my nerdy need to see as many sources for the same thing as possible! Thank you for listening!
